The Tuscan Dental Institute is involved in Higher Education and Continuing Education Programs for Dentists, Dental Hygienists and Paramedics.
The Master aims to train medical and dental professionals, with a wide and updated knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic paths related to oral surgery and implantology to improve technical and surgical skills. The Master also gives the opportunity to attend a dissection course on corpse at the ICLO - CADAVER LAB in Arezzo to put into practice on anatomical preparations, the surgical techniques learned theoretically (this course is optional).
The theoretical lessons and practical exercises are carried out by leading professionals in the field.
The notions learned by the learners allow to significantly improve the therapies administered and to add new skills. The title of University Master - unique in the field of implantology, as there is no specific specialization - is recognized by law and is a qualifying title. It can also be a preferential title for public competitions in the hospital and university sector. The Master has a holistic and integrated approach including lessons on osteopathy, posture and how these are influenced by the position of teeth and/or prosthetics.
The Master has a very experiential approach and the internships will take place according to an operational program developed at the beginning of the Master.
REQUIREMENTS
In order to be admitted to the Master's Degree Course you must have at least one of the following degrees (or in the process of obtaining them by the deadline for enrolment):
- Degree in Dentistry and Dental and Specialist Prosthetics
- Degree in Medicine and Surgery and Specialists
They may also apply:
- Applicants in possession of qualifications equivalent to those listed above obtained under the previous university system
- Candidates holding an academic qualification obtained abroad comparable in duration and content to those listed above.
The University reserves the right to admit candidates with different qualifications but related to the Master's course.
For admission to the Master's degree, a selection will be made and a merit ranking will be drawn up, established on the basis of the curriculum.
