Istituto Stomatologico Toscano, Foundation for Clinical, Research and Advanced Training in Dentistry, organizes University Master's Course, Postgraduate Courses and Continuing Education Programs for Dentists and Dental Hygienists, as well as courses for Paramedics, organized by professionals working in the facility, with 20 years' experience in organizing and conducting university courses.
The training activity includes frontal theoretical lectures, practical simulator exercises and guided clinical activities, with scheduled attendance. The training activity of Istituto Stomatologico Toscano has been organized over the years in collaboration with Italian and foreign Universities.
The Clinical activity of the Istituto Stomatologico Toscano, directed by Prof. Ugo Covani, is active at the Fortis Dental Center. This is an advanced clinical facility devoted to excellent dental practice.
The research activity of the Istituto Stomatologico Toscano boasts more than 300 publications, half of them in international peer reviewed journals.

The didactic modalities
The teaching methods proposed by IST vary depending on the discipline taught, the topics covered, and the specific needs of the students.Among these methods, there are:
face-to-face lessons, the most classic of the university teaching methods, in which students are taught the theoretical bases, main concepts and everything that can be learned from a purely theoretical point of view; practical exercises in the laboratory, where you can put to the test the theories that have been learned and webinars.
Continuing education for dentists
